The Internship Pathway is how top performers across all Firstlincoln Programs transition from learning into real-world experience. Whether your goal is technical mastery, portfolio building or a career switch — the pathway gives you a structured place to land.
A short, focused placement to consolidate what you just learned. Best if you already have a job or further study lined up and want a credible portfolio piece.
Real industry exposure on multiple projects, with progressively more responsibility. Best for a deliberate career switch into the data, AI or tech domain.
A full year of structured, paid-style industry experience designed to convert into a permanent role. Best for graduates and career-changers committing to the field.
Selected interns are placed with one of our partner organisations or sponsors, who absorb the cost of the internship and may offer a stipend. Allocation is based on cohort performance, fit and availability.
For learners whose journey is backed by a parent, sponsor or employer, the internship can be funded directly by the guardian. This unlocks the same structured placement, mentorship and portfolio support.
Finish any Firstlincoln Program with strong attendance and project scores.
Submit your interest, choose your track (3/6/12 months), and indicate your preferred support model.
We match you to an industry placement based on your skills, interests and the openings in our partner network.
Complete your internship with a real portfolio, real references and a real shot at a permanent role.
Yes — the Internship Pathway is designed as the next step after one of our Programs. Your cohort performance and project work is what we present to partner organisations.
Eligibility for the pathway is open to all Program graduates. Final placement depends on cohort performance, partner availability and the support model you choose.
That is the guardian-supported model. The structured placement, mentor support, portfolio and reference letter are identical to sponsorship-backed interns — the difference is who funds your placement.
Sponsorship-backed interns may receive a stipend depending on the partner organisation's policy. Stipends are confirmed at placement time, not in advance.
The 3-month track is designed to be flexible enough to combine with employment or further study. The 6- and 12-month tracks require a meaningful weekly commitment that is usually not compatible with full-time work.
Every Internship Pathway starts with one of our Programs. Pick your starting point.
