End-to-End Secure Elections
For over 25 years Firstlincoln Technologies has built and secured systems that Nigerian organisations depend on. We apply that same discipline to elections. From voter register clean-up and accreditation, through balloting on web, SMS and USSD, to a real-time results projection at your AGM and a signed audit trail afterwards, we manage the entire electoral cycle so your leadership transition is transparent, inclusive and beyond dispute.

Electronic election management solves the problems that cause post-election disputes
Paper elections are expensive, slow and easy to challenge. Travel limits participation, registers create eligibility arguments, manual counting invites suspicion, and physical logistics leave little evidence when a result is challenged.
- Turnout collapses when voting requires travel.Members outside the host city, or outside Nigeria, simply do not vote.
- Registers are stale.Duplicate records, unfinancial members and inherited spreadsheets create eligibility arguments before a single vote is cast.
- Counting is opaque.Manual tallying invites suspicion even when it is honest.
- There is no evidence trail.A challenged manual election rarely has the records to answer the challenge.
- The cost is hidden.Venue hire, printing, logistics, security and delegate travel add up to far more than a managed electronic process.
We do not sell you software and disappear
Firstlincoln deploys a managed election platform and staffs it with the engineers, data analysts and contact centre agents who run it on your behalf.
Secure voter registry and eligibility engine
Clean, deduplicate and certify membership records with configurable eligibility rules and a versioned register that shows exactly who was accredited and why.
Multi-factor voter authentication
Unique credentials and one-time passwords ensure that only eligible members vote, with one credential and one vote per member.
Multi-channel balloting
Web, SMS, USSD and IVR voting keep members included across devices and network conditions. Voice and USSD infrastructure is built and operated in-house.
Configurable ballot design
Single-seat races, multi-seat council elections, "vote for any five of twelve", yes/no affirmation and confirmation votes, weighted or proxy voting for delegate structures, zonal ballots that show each member only the positions they are entitled to vote in, and staged elections where a run-off opens automatically if no candidate crosses the threshold.
Ballot secrecy by architecture
Voter identity and ballot content are separated at the point of submission and stored independently. The system can prove that a specific member voted, and can count every ballot accurately, but no administrator - including ours - can link a member to their choice.
Encryption, integrity and audit logging
Ballots are encrypted in transit and at rest. Each vote is hashed and sequenced into a tamper-evident ledger, so any alteration or deletion after the fact is immediately detectable. Every administrative action carries a timestamped, attributed audit entry.
Real-time results dashboard and live projection
Your electoral committee watches accreditation and turnout climb in real time. At the close of poll, results are computed instantly and can be projected live on screen at the AGM venue - no adjournment, no overnight counting, no room for doubt about what changed between the close of voting and the announcement.
Independent scrutineer and auditor access
Read-only observer accounts for your electoral committee, external auditors, candidate agents and regulatory observers. They see the same live figures you do, which removes the single most common source of post-election allegation.
Election support desk
Through our sister company, Outsource Nigeria, we staff a dedicated support desk for the duration of the voting window - phone, WhatsApp and email - to help members who cannot log in, did not receive an OTP or need guidance on the ballot. Voter support is the difference between deployed technology and actual turnout.
Anti-fraud and resilience controls
Rate limiting, device and session telemetry, anomaly detection on voting patterns, redundant cloud hosting and pre-election load testing at multiples of your expected peak. We test your election under stress before your members ever see it.
Certified post-election reporting
Within an agreed window of the close of poll you receive a signed results certificate, full position-by-position breakdown, turnout analytics by chapter, zone and membership grade, and an exportable audit trail suitable for a tribunal, a regulator or a constitutional review.
Data protection and information security
Firstlincoln Technologies is a licensed data processor operating in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and maintains an ISO/IEC 27001:2022-aligned information security management system. Member data is processed under a written data processing agreement, used solely for the election, and disposed of on your instruction.

We read your constitution, electoral guidelines and bye-laws, and map them into system rules. The technology follows your rules; we never ask you to bend your rules to fit software.

Platform configuration and candidate onboarding.
Ballot build, candidate profiles and manifestos, branding in your organisation's identity.
Member sensitisation and testing.

Managed elections in practice
Secure electronic elections
Answers for your electoral committee
- Is electronic voting secure enough for a contested election?Yes, when it is properly engineered. Our platform encrypts ballots in transit and at rest, authenticates every voter with a one-time password, writes each vote into a tamper-evident ledger, and logs every administrative action. The controls that make an electronic election secure are the same controls that make it defensible afterwards: you can prove what happened.
- Can members without smartphones or internet access vote?Yes. Alongside the web portal we provide SMS, USSD and IVR telephone voting. Any member with a basic GSM handset can vote.
- Can anyone see who I voted for?No. Voter identity and ballot content are stored separately by design. The system verifies that you are eligible and records that you voted, but no administrator can link your identity to your choice.
- How long does it take to set up an election? It depends on the state of your membership records. A well-maintained register can be ready in two to three weeks. Where records need substantial cleaning and reconciliation, allow six to eight weeks. Engage us early - register preparation, not technology, is almost always the critical path.
- Does this comply with our constitution? We begin every engagement by reading your constitution and electoral guidelines and configuring the system to them. Where your rules are silent on electronic voting, we can help your legal advisers draft the amendment or the electoral guideline that authorises it.
- What happens to our members' data after the election? It is processed under a written data processing agreement in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, used only for the election, and returned or securely destroyed on your instruction.
- Can we run a hybrid election with both physical and electronic voting?Yes. Members present at the venue can vote on-site through accredited terminals while remote members vote online, with both streams tallying into a single result.
- How much does an electronic election cost?Pricing depends on electorate size, number of positions, channels required and the condition of your register. In most cases a managed electronic election costs less than the printing, logistics, venue and delegate travel of the equivalent manual process. Contact us for a costed proposal.
